Course Information: This course will equip local officials with the knowledge, understanding, and skills to conduct rapid, effective needs and damage assessments to save lives and protect property.

Course Information: The course will prepare you to work with the ICS Forms used in the Incident Command Planning process to assist in developing an Incident Action Plan (IAP). Participants will be introduced to the forms and practice of developing and writing effective objectives to manage an expanding all-hazards incident.  

The ICS 300 course focuses on the Incident Command System (ICS) for supervisors in expanding incidents. ICS 300 outlines how the NIMS Command and Coordination component supports the management of expanding incidents and describes the incident management processes prescribed by ICS. This course includes a threaded activity that gives students the opportunity to practice implementing the incident management process and creating an Incident Action Plan (IAP) for a simulated expanding incident.

Course Information: The G2300 Intermediate Emergency Operations Center Functions is a three-day course with the goal of assisting individuals and jurisdictions who desire to develop or improve their Emergency Operation Centers (EOC). By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate, through activities and a Final Exam, the managerial and operational roles of the modern-day EOC as a NIMS Command and Coordination functional group operating within a Multiagency Coordination System (MACS).

Course Information: ICS-400 is intended for experienced responders and other senior emergency management personnel, or for those who may perform in a management capacity for major or complex incidents. Although this is an advanced ICS course and includes the creation of Area Command, it is not intended to develop mastery of Area Command. This course aims to expose students to the concepts of utilizing Area Command in major and complex incidents.

Course Information: This course focuses on the importance of developing and operating as a functional Type 3 All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT).

This course meets the needs of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the National Response Framework (NRF).  

This course will assist individual responders to perform as viable team members by:

• Demonstrating the goals of NIMS and NRF.
• Emphasizing the nature and purpose of an AHIMT so that others in the community and emergency services are more willing and able to assist.
• Demonstrating the critical role that leadership and teamwork skills play in the success of a Type 3 AHIMT.
• Providing a basic framework for building and maintaining critical interpersonal communications and working together as a team member of a Type 3 AHIMT.
• Offering practical experience of on-scene operations through extensive exercises and simulations, as well as through post-course refresher training, by providing students with the opportunity to perform as members of a Type 3 AHIMT during a mock incident management situation.

Course Information: The purpose of this professional development course is to prepare local, state, tribal, and Federal emergency responders to function in the role of a T-III OSC after obtaining adequate experience. The OSC will be part of an all-hazards Type III IMT Operations Section Chief (OSC) in a Type III All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT).
